I'll be his...

Brea had left Sol to get the rings and she'd headed back to their apartment and tossed some clothes and toiletries into a bag for the both of them. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach at the thought of what was going to happen within the next 24 hours. She'd become Mrs Solomon Hawken, and she couldn't be any more excited. Or nervous. Having removed the dress she'd brought back with her when they'd rescued Bella from the closet, Brea laid it on the bed beside the bag and smiled.

This was really going to happen, she was going to marry the man she loved with all her heart. Running her hand over the soft material she let out a soft breath before moving towards the mirror. Her fingers worked her hair, getting it ready for when they'd get married, also doing something to keep her mind off of the fact she had to wait for Sol to return. Nerves weren't her friend and she could feel them bubbling in her stomach, as much as she knew he loved her, she couldn't help but fear he'd change his mind. But every soon to be bride had the same worries.

His lips touched hers, gently at first then with a touch more pressure; finally he opened his mouth under hers. It didn’t matter to him Elvis’s wife had started crying on cue. Or that Elvis had tears of his own glistening in his eyes. It didn’t matter to Solomon as he and Brea were the only ones in the small chapel at that moment. He kissed her as if it were his last kiss, his first kiss, and every other kiss he would ever give her after they left the chapel.

He knew they were married and nothing could take that away from her --- or him. His kiss stated he was her husband in every sense of the word.
