Brea had left Sol to get the rings and she'd headed back to their apartment and tossed some clothes and toiletries into a bag for the both of them. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach at the thought of what was going to happen within the next 24 hours. She'd become Mrs Solomon Hawken, and she couldn't be any more excited. Or nervous. Having removed the dress she'd brought back with her when they'd rescued Bella from the closet, Brea laid it on the bed beside the bag and smiled.

This was really going to happen, she was going to marry the man she loved with all her heart. Running her hand over the soft material she let out a soft breath before moving towards the mirror. Her fingers worked her hair, getting it ready for when they'd get married, also doing something to keep her mind off of the fact she had to wait for Sol to return. Nerves weren't her friend and she could feel them bubbling in her stomach, as much as she knew he loved her, she couldn't help but fear he'd change his mind. But every soon to be bride had the same worries.

He found what he had been looking for, and headed back to the hotel suite they were staying at. On the way he made arrangements at a little Las Vegas chapel for them to be married in, it was over the top, and the pastor was an Elvis impersonator, but sincere about marrying young couples. The only thing left was for Hawken to get ready himself, not that he needed to do much, he had a suit on and needed coffee more than anything.

“Brat, are you ready yet?”

Hawken called out as he came into the hotel room.

“Bossy woman, we’re not even married yet and you’re hen pecking me.” The words were softened with the obvious teasing as he called to her. Finding the coffee he made himself a cup and called back to her.

“Elvis is marrying us.”

“Nag. Nag. Nag.” Hawken quipped back. He let out a sigh as he drank the coffee and eyed the closed bedroom door, wondering what she was putting on in there. His lips curled upwards as he let the fantasy run in his mind.

“This is Vegas, we’re supposed to do tacky weddings. We’re going to get a photo taken and all.” He sounded amused by the whole tacky idea.

The usual talkative goblin was at a loss for words when she walked out of the room. Of course he had seen the dress before, still the way he drew in a breath; spoke volumes of how much Hawken approved of how she looked.

“You look like a princess.”

The kiss was returned, deepened, until Hawken pulled back with a soft sigh.

"We keep this up, you're never going to leave this room. Lets go get married by Elvis."

While his voice held a bit of glee in it, there was seriousness in his eyes. He wanted to do it.

Solomon grabbed her by the hand and pulled her to him, giving her another brief kiss,

“Lets get out of here, I’ll be needing coffee when we’re done.” His voice was lightly teasing as he motioned for her to follow him, holding his hand out for her to try and capture it. With that he was out of the room, running down the hall, calling after her while holding out his hand,

“Hurry up slow poke, you’ll be late for our wedding.”

Hawken slowed down, finally taking her hand in his and falling into step beside her. He whispered against her ear,

“You’ll still look beautiful.”

It wasn’t long after when he had them both at the quaint little Vegas chapel they were going to be married at.

“Well, brat, still want to get married by Elvis?”

He became all serious, a brief return kiss, and Hawken looped his arm around hers.

"Miss Fortune. My light. C'mon lets go in before I get too sappy."

"Only over coffee." He gave her a teasing grin.

Once inside they were greeted by the sight over over done tackiness, the 'church' was decorated in everything Elvis. And they were greeted by a little, plump, woman who identified herself as 'Pricilla', Elvis's wife.

It set the scene for how the rest of the 'wedding' would go. And Sol, was clearly throughly amused by it all. He whispered against her ear,

"I want them at our real wedding."

As they stood waiting for the Pastor Elvis to show, Solomon gave Brea a side look. His eyebrow arched slightly.

“Does this matter, it’s a play wedding.” While it was as real as tacky and Vegas could get, the little things didn’t seem to bother Hawken.

Hawken draws her close to him, brushing his lips against hers.

“Then let me decide what to say when it comes to vows. The only important ones I want to say is ’I do’. None of the other ones matter.”

He kissed her a little deeper. And pulled back when over the intercom speakers in the church the words blasted out,

“Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis is in the building.”

Hawken gave a grin and whispered against Brea’s ear, “This is so tacky. I love it.”

It took a bit of effort for Sol to pull his gaze away from the mesmerising tackiness of the act. The entrance was so overdone it was cliché, but in a strange way, rather good.

His gaze focused on Brea and he smiled softly.

“I have the rings.” He assured her. And finally they were heading down the aisle, towards the pastor who would marry them.

As he stood beside Brea, it was soon to be his turn to say the vows. Solomon kept them simple,

” Where there has been cold, you have brought warmth.
Where there was darkness, you have brought light.
Our miracle lies in the path we have chosen together. I, Solomon Hawken, take you, Brea Fortune, to enter this marriage with you. Knowing that the true magic of love is not to avoid changes, but to follow the path together, hand in hand. I commit to the miracle of making each day be for you. Be for us, together, for as long as we both shall live.”

The ring he placed on her finger was a simple gold band. Inside it he had inscribed the words: Thome Reid's only light.

Giving the ring over, he had also given her his true name and in his vows he had spoken his goblin name to give Brea. The knowledge caused the goblin to smile softly. He would be fully committed to her as he always was, in both his names.

It took a lot for him not to steal a kiss when she leant in, but he knew he could wait to kiss her the moment they had completed their vows. Taking the ring from his suit pocket, Solomon placed the plain matching gold band in the palm of her hand.

“I said I’d find us something.” He said, pleased he had managed to find two matching rings at such short notice. Then again they were in Vegas, everything could be almost found in Vegas.

His lips touched hers, gently at first then with a touch more pressure; finally he opened his mouth under hers. It didn’t matter to him Elvis’s wife had started crying on cue. Or that Elvis had tears of his own glistening in his eyes. It didn’t matter to Solomon as he and Brea were the only ones in the small chapel at that moment. He kissed her as if it were his last kiss, his first kiss, and every other kiss he would ever give her after they left the chapel.

He knew they were married and nothing could take that away from her --- or him. His kiss stated he was her husband in every sense of the word.
