Family meeting...
Feb. 14th, 2012 09:55 pmAfter the EMT's had left, Brea sat down beside her father and fussed over him a little. She needed the distraction from what was happening, at least physically. She'd already made Eban a cup of tea and she was making sure that he drunk it. Worried eyes watched him before they flickered back towards Hawken. How had everything turned on it's head again.
"I don't understand something," she said softly, "Why dad, why Bella?" She was talking to Solomon of course, but she didn't look at him as she kept an ever watchful eye on her father. "Tell me why they'd come for him. He's not your father nor your blood, and Bella is nothing to do with you at all." It didn't make sense, at least not to Brea, why come for those two if they wanted to do some damage, they could have come for her.
Her eyes glanced around the room and she let out a breath, she knew the longer they waited the worse that could be happening to Bella, "Where are they," she whispered as she glanced around again, then turned her attention to her father. She didn't know if she should call Fia as the last she'd heard he'd made his choice and had chosen not to be part of this family. "If they hurt her, Albert is going to go nuts."
